Ok, ill be honest. im in love with this page and at first i din't know why , but now i understand. The over all darkness of the page helps flesh out the mood , it gives me this really heavy feeling probably not too dissimilar from what the characters in this story are feeling , in short it sets the the tone rather than feeling like a cop out to avoid drawing backgrounds ,(i do that shit, dont do that shit) The police being portrayed as shadowy figures dehumanizes them ,making me sympathize even more with the characters being arrested. Speaking of the characters, they all seem to have personalities that are apparent even with the lack of dialogue .The expressions on their faces in panel 3 kinda drive it home .The black haired guy sporting the "SLAYER" T-shirt seems to be a bit on the tougher side, looking angery and confused,while his friend in the "METAL" T-shirt seems to be more scared than anything, the guy in the final panel seem to feel remorse despite his innocence ,he seems like a kind hearted person. All 3 of these guys are also very well rendered, I'm a fan of your style and storytelling and your really hit a home run here! I look forward to seeing more !
